Parents’ Opinion on some Myths about Parenting in the Context of their own Upbringing and Social Expectations

The aim of this research was to investigate the opinions parents at different stages parenthood, about myths authoritarian parenting and gender stereotypes in context their own upbringing social expectations. Considering influence one’s parents, way growing up wider society norms, initial assumption that up, as a family factor factor, define parents’ on parenting. Twelve respondents participated research; qualitative method semi-structured interview used. results showed factors, such style, but also factors environment media, Also, it found differ parenting, depending stage parenthood they are currently in.
